​Monique was born in Los Angeles, California. she relocated to Texas in 1994 and currently resides in Fort Worth. After a 7 year career as a Special Education Teacher, Monique decided to follow her dream to became a Therapist. She was accepted into the Professional Counseling program at Texas Wesleyan University where she excelled and earned her Master of Art Degree. Monique has participated in highly acclaimed intensive training around the world, which include Solution-Focused and Narrative Therapy Training at the Brief Institute in London and Human Sexuality/Sex Therapy Training in Australia. Monique has experience within the psychiatric hospital setting, through which she assists clients who are experiencing challenging concerns ranging from mild psychosis to severe crisis/trauma. 

Monique is a dedicated therapist who possesses the innate ability to connect with her clients. Her approach is respectful and non-judgemental. She is passionate about others change and develop the necessary skills for success. She thrives in seeing for clients' progress toward and achieve their goals. Monique believes that being your authentic self is the true essence of growth and healing.
