Rodney was born in Oklahoma, through no fault of his own, but came to Texas as soon as possible. Rodney is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, (Once a Marine Always a Marine). He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice in 1994 from Dallas Baptist University. Rodney was bestowed his Master of Arts Degree in Counseling in 2015 from Dallas Baptist University
He spent thirty years in law enforcement and fifteen years working with individuals who are Intellectually Developmentally Delayed and those with severe Mental Health Disorders. He provides treatment to adolescents (ages 13 and up) and adults. He specializes in Crisis Counseling and treating individuals with Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective, Bi-Polar, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive, and Personality Disorders. He also has a passion of treating veterans and the issues that they suffer from, such as PTSD, alcoholism, or substance abuse.
Rodney thinks the key to a well-balanced life is taking care of the mind, body and spirit. He embraces a belief that life is too short, not be happy and not to achieve your goals. He takes an overall approach to counseling and warm down to earth treatment style.
